Buchholz's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Silverdale Academy. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly four runs.
Buchholz got a great performance from Dion Wilburn as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave Wilburn a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Roen Kresak, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cedaris Smith, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Marion). They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over Trinity Catholic on Tuesday. The Colts haven't had any issues with the Celtics recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Tucker Jones was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. He also put up a run, which was his first of the season. Trenton Ramsey was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
North Marion always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
North Marion's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Buchholz, their win bumped their record up to 16-0.
North Marion's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Buchholz hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .320. It's a different story for North Marion, though, as they've only averaged .245. Will they be able to contain Buchholz's hitters?
