Softball Recap: Lithonia Comes Up Short

Lithonia fell victim to North Springs and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 18-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lithonia's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for North Springs, their record now sits at 7-12.

Lithonia wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 25-0 defeat against Cedar Shoals on the 1st. As for North Springs, they will take on Lovett at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.93 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
