Bloomfield won the last time they faced Niobrara/Verdigre and Beau Eisenhauer did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bees enjoyed a cozy 50-35 victory over the Cougars on Saturday for which the team can thank Eisenhauer, who posted 22 points. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least 18 points.

Edward Drobny and Kash Neilsen certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Drobny earned eight points and five boards, while Neilsen put up seven points along with five rebounds and four steals. Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will be home for the holidays to greet Wakefield on Tuesday. As for Niobrara/Verdigre, they will welcome Hartington-Newcastle at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
