Basketball Game Preview: Entrepreneur Panthers vs. Excelsior Charter Eagles

The Entrepreneur Panthers will face off against the Excelsior Charter Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Entrepreneur's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Thursday's struggle, when Indian Springs offense got past them. Entrepreneur was dealt a 58-14 defeat at the hands of Indian Springs back in December of 2024. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Excelsior Charter ended up a good deal behind Academy for Academic Excellence on Friday and lost 37-19. The Eagles have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Entrepreneur's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Excelsior Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Entrepreneur was taken down by Excelsior Charter 44-14 when the teams last played back in November of 2023. Can Entrepreneur avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
