Basketball Game Preview: Conemaugh Township Indians vs. Windber Ramblers

Conemaugh Township hasn't had much luck against Windber recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Conemaugh Township Indians just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Windber Ramblers at 7:15 p.m. Conemaugh Township is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Conemaugh Township is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing North Star: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Conemaugh Township blew North Star out of the water with a 45-6 final score. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Indians had established a 27 point advantage.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Windber). They came out on top against Blacklick Valley by a score of 63-52 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Ramblers considering their 20-point performance the game before.

Windber is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points over those games. As for Conemaugh Township, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Conemaugh Township was taken down by Windber 53-16 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Windber's Kaylie Gaye, who went 6 of 9 to rack up 16 points and five rebounds.
