Soccer Recap: Farmersville Takes a Loss

If Farmersville was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Orange Cove last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Farmersville Aztecs fell 4-2 to the Woodlake Tigers on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in December of 2024.

Farmersville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-6. As for Woodlake, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4-5.

Farmersville has already played their next contest (against Wonderful College Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Woodlake, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Woodlake duke it out with the Corcoran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodlake is facing Corcoran at the right time seeing as Corcoran is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
