Football Game Preview: Uniontown Eagles vs. Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks

Uniontown hasn't had much luck against Jayhawk Linn recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Jayhawks. Uniontown has given up an average of 28 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Uniontown is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 39 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Pleasanton on Friday. They took a blow against the Blu-Jays, falling 45-12.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last contest, Jayhawk Linn made sure to put some points up on the board against Southeast on Friday. The Jayhawks blew past the Lancers 48-18. The Jayhawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jayhawk Linn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.0 points over those games. As for Uniontown, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Uniontown was taken down by Jayhawk Linn 53-16 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
