Baseball Recap: General Brown Comes Up Short

General Brown fell victim to Bishop Ludden and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Gaelic Knights by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since April 24th.

General Brown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Ward, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double was Ward's first of the season.

General Brown now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Bishop Ludden, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.
