Basketball Recap: Waterford Wildcats vs. Millennium Falcons
Waterford lost against Millennium back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Waterford Wildcats took a 33-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Millennium Falcons. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Sarah Digiallonardo continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Millennium, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 18 boards. Digiallonardo is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ashley Rutiaga, who posted six points.
Waterford's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Millennium, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
