Softball Recap: Tift County Gets the Win + How To Watch

Tift County won the last time they faced Lee County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Devils walked away with a 6-2 win over the Trojans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Lily Robinson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Robinson was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Stella Bryant, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs. Another player making a difference was Morgan Brey, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Coincidentally, Tift County and Lee County will both be playing Lanier County the next time they take the field. The Blue Devils will host the Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
