Softball Recap: Pace Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Pace Academy won the last time they faced Creekside and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Knights were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Seminoles. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Pace Academy, bringing their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Creekside, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pace Academy will welcome Jackson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Creekside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mays at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17 runs per game on average), something the Seminoles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
