Baseball Recap: South Wake Comes Up Short

South Wake was the 12-1 winner over Raleigh HomeSchool when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Sabres fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

South Wake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Silas Baehr, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

South Wake's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Raleigh HomeSchool, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11-1.

South Wake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-4 win against Providence Athletic Club on the 8th. As for Raleigh HomeSchool, they have also already played their next game, a 12-8 victory against Blue Ridge on the 8th.
