Football Game Preview: Trinity Shamrocks vs. Great Crossing Warhawks + How To Watch

The Trinity Shamrocks will face off against the Great Crossing Warhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Trinity's favor as the team sits on 13 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Great Crossing has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

Trinity is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Oldham County: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Shamrocks blew the Colonels out of the water with a 52-3 final score. The result was nothing new for the Shamrocks, who have now won six contests by 32 points or more so far this season.

Trinity found their leader in sophomore Anthony Lowe, who threw for 193 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashton Taylor, who gained 55 total yards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, Great Crossing was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They had to suffer through a 47-7 loss at the hands of Corbin. The game marked the Warhawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Great Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Trinity, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
