Basketball Recap: Tyrone Takes a Loss

Tyrone lost against Bishop McCort back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tyrone Golden Eagles took a hard 61-47 fall against the Bishop McCort Crushers.

Tyrone dropped their record down to 6-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bishop McCort, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Tyrone and Bishop McCort should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Tyrone (ranked 183rd) will meet Philipsburg-Osceola (ranked 643rd) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bishop McCort will challenge Richland at 7:15 p.m. on Monday up 173 places (55 vs. 228).
