It was fun while it lasted, but Tehachapi's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Thursday. They fell to the Hoover Patriots 37-32. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Tehachapi had strong showings from Koree Rodden, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards, and Jamie Neaderbaomer, who posted 14 points. What's more, Rodden also racked up six steals, the most she's had since back in January.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tehachapi fell to 8-1. As for Hoover, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Tehachapi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-38 loss against Orcutt Academy on the 27th. As for Hoover, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-13 defeat against Immanuel on the 27th.
