Soccer Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dominguez last Tuesday, Centennial came back down to earth. The Centennial Apaches lost 8-0 to the Santa Monica Vikings on Wednesday.

Centennial now has a losing record at 1-2-4. As for Santa Monica, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-1.

Centennial is taking a road trip to challenge Culver City on Friday. Centennial is facing Culver City at the right time seeing as Culver City is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Santa Monica, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Inglewood at 3:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
