Soccer Recap: Richmond Takes a Loss

Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Antioch Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Oilers of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2020.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Antioch, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond will venture away from home to face off against De Anza at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Antioch, they are taking a road trip to challenge Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
