Baseball Recap: Morrow Mustangs vs. McIntosh Chiefs
Morrow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the McIntosh Chiefs, falling 17-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Tuesday.
Zoran Galloway and Bryce Glass did some serious damage despite the final result: Galloway scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Glass scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Malachi Mingo was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
Even though they lost, Morrow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .522. This was only their first loss (out of six games) when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Morrow's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for McIntosh, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.
