Baseball Recap: Colquitt County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ware County last Wednesday, Colquitt County came back down to earth. The Colquitt County Packers fell 10-5 to the Chiles Timberwolves on Thursday. The Packers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Timberwolves from their previous meeting back in March of 2021.

Colquitt County's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Chiles, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4.

Coming up, Colquitt County will welcome Buchholz at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chiles, they will venture away from home to take on Menendez at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
