Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Linville Hill walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 48-25 margin over the Greenwood Wildcats on Saturday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Greenwood still got an impressive performance from Bekah Brinser, who posted 14 points and six rebounds.

The win (which was Linville Hill's eighth in a row) raised their record to 26-2. As for Greenwood, they moved to 21-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Linville Hill will challenge Our Lady of Lourdes Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Linville Hill surely won't give up without a fight. Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
