Baseball Recap: DeWitt Find Success

Beal City typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday DeWitt proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Aggies by a score of 8-5. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Aggies, too.

DeWitt now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Beal City, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-8.

DeWitt and Beal City should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Panthers will square off against Waverly at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (130 vs. 400). Meanwhile, Beal City (ranked 63rd) will meet Marion (ranked 402nd) at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
