Basketball Recap: Los Altos Takes a Loss

Los Altos was the 50-43 winner over Alta Loma when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Los Altos Conquerors took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alta Loma Braves on Monday. The Conquerors just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Alta Loma found their leader in sophomore Mia Valle, who went 10 of 24 en route to 27 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Britain Hall, who went 6 for 15 on her way to 14 points.

Los Altos' defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Alta Loma, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Los Altos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alta Loma, they will take on Colony at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alta Loma is facing Colony at the right time seeing as Colony is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
