Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Mission West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Shawnee Mission West lost against Olathe Northwest back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings came up short against the Ravens, falling 3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Olathe Northwest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amaya Jimenez, who had eight digs and five assists.

Shawnee Mission West's defeat dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Olathe Northwest, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-8.

Shawnee Mission West has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Shawnee Mission North on the 18th. As for Olathe Northwest, they will take on Saint Thomas Aquinas on Wednesday.
