Football Recap: Yuba City Starts Season with Win Against Armijo + How To Watch

Yuba City gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They claimed a resounding 47-6 victory over the Armijo Royals.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Ryan Corum and Cody Haase. Corum rushed for 174 yards and one score on only 15 carries while Haase gained 81 total yards and four touchdowns. What's more, Haase racked up 45 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Judah Allen, who threw for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Yuba City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 252 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Armijo only rushed for 51 rushing yards.

Coming up, Yuba City is headed away from home for the first time to take on Rosemont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Armijo, they will welcome Bishop O'Dowd at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
