Baseball Recap: Denmark Has No Trouble Against Grayson

Denmark was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Grayson on Monday. Denmark blew past the Grayson Rams 11-2. Denmark's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Geno Goralski and Daniel Biondo did most of the damage at the plate: Goralski went a perfect4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Biondo went a perfect3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. That home run marked the first that Goralski's launched this season. Jason Williams was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The victory got Denmark back to even at 2-2. As for Grayson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-3.

Denmark has already played their next contest, a 16-4 win against Sprayberry on the 18th. As for Grayson, they will take on Franklin County in a tournament on Friday.
