Basketball Recap: San Jacinto's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

San Jacinto extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Luvlee Sadler. The San Jacinto Tigers claimed a resounding 74-15 victory over the Elsinore Tigers thanks in part to Sadler, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and 19 boards. Those 19 rebounds gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Miyah Stevenson, who posted seven points in addition to seven assists and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played.

San Jacinto is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Elsinore, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

San Jacinto will face off against Santa Margarita on Saturday. San Jacinto knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Santa Margarita likes a good challenge. As for Elsinore, they will welcome Tahquitz at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
