Recap: Kehillah Rams vs. Pescadero Vikings
The Kehillah Rams can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They escaped with a win against Pescadero by the margin of a single free throw, 33-32. The victory was just what Kehillah needed coming off of a 66-11 defeat in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Ariella Sheppard, who scored 29 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season.
Kehillah's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7. As for Pescadero, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
Kehillah will be playing at home against The Nueva School at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Amrutha Rao and Sheppard. As for Pescadero, they will head out on the road to challenge Summit Shasta at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
