Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Franklinton + How To Watch

Franklinton proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Wake Forest Cougars 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Rams have posted since September 17, 2024.

Franklinton took Wake Forest into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 18-25, 18-25, 15-13.

Franklinton found their leader in freshman Delaney Boylan, who had 28 digs and two aces. Gabbi Salati was another key player, getting 15 digs.

Franklinton pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Wake Forest, they moved to 9-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coming up, Franklinton will head out to face off against Falls Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wake Forest, they will host Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
