Softball Recap: Montezuma-Cortez Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Montezuma-Cortez was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They lost 12-2 to the Wellington Eagles.

Montezuma-Cortez saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden White, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Montezuma-Cortez has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Wellington, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Montezuma-Cortez nor Wellington have any future games scheduled.
