Kacey Dunaway has led Crete in runs on the season and she led the team again on Tuesday. Dunaway made a splash, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Milford back in September of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Dunaway has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played.

Looking ahead, Dunaway and Crete will head out to challenge Beatrice on Thursday. Dunaway has dominated as far as stolen bases are concerned (she's averaged 1 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Orangemen have only allowed 1.17 per game this season.
