Softball Recap: Eaton Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Eaton came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the La Junta Tigers. The Reds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Bria Foster made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emma Anderson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Brooklyn Savona was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Eaton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 15 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Eaton's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for La Junta, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
