Baseball Game Preview: Mays Raiders vs. Pace Academy Knights

For the second straight game, Mays will face off against Pace Academy. The Raiders will look to defend their home field on Monday against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Mays is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Friday, Mays came up short against Pace Academy and fell 6-3.

Montavious Fowler made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. He is becoming a predictor of Mays' success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-1 (and 0-4-1 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Amarion Robinson, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Pace Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Mays, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.
