Softball Recap: East Marshall Takes a Loss

East Marshall made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Prairie City-Monroe, but they still couldn't quite topple them. East Marshall fell just short of Prairie City-Monroe by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss East Marshall has suffered since May 31st.

East Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Prairie City-Monroe, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Marshall will take on Hudson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games the Pirates have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Prairie City-Monroe, they will welcome Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
