Andover had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took down the Newton Railroaders 42-27. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Andover's record is now 4-2. As for Newton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Andover will head out on the road to challenge Salina Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs' defense has only allowed 13.3 points per game this season, so the Trojans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Newton, they will face off against Hutchinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
