Baseball Recap: Waldron Beats Danville for Their Third Straight Win

Waldron put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Danville Little Johns as the Waldron Bulldogs made off with a 29-19 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-5 last Thursday.

Waldron's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Danville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Waldron is taking a road trip to square off against Cossatot River at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Danville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Acorn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Danville has given up an average of 16.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
