Softball Recap: Checotah Comes Up Short

Checotah was the 10-1 winner over Locust Grove when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Checotah's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Locust Grove, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Checotah will look to defend their home field on Monday against McAlester at 5:00 p.m. As for Locust Grove, they will head out to take on Glenpool at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
