Softball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Academy Starts off Right with Win over Washington County

Thomas Jefferson Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Washington County Golden Hawks by a score of 6-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Jaguars also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Thomas Jefferson Academy's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Braylie Guy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Thomas Jefferson Academy will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Trinity Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington County, they will face off against Putnam County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
