After losing to Ridgeland the last time they met, Northwest Whitfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bruins walked away with a 7-3 win over the Panthers on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Bruins have won by exactly four runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Northwest Whitfield and bumps their season record up to 6-12. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Ridgeland, they dropped their record down to 7-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
