Basketball Recap: Christian School of York Sets Scoring Season-High Against Harrisburg Christian

Christian School of York was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 50-41 to Harrisburg Christian. One positive for Christian School of York, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Christian School of York lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kaitlynn Fuller, who posted 16 points. That was a full 39% of Christian School of York's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Madison Byrd, who put up ten points.

Christian School of York's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Harrisburg Christian, with the victory, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Christian School of York will welcome Mount Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Calvary Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season. Harrisburg Christian and New Covenant Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in New Covenant Christian's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Harrisburg Christian has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
