Baseball Recap: Berwick Academy Comes Up Short

Berwick Academy and Hamden Hall Country Day squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Berwick Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 9-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since May 17, 2025.

Berwick Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Timmy Peracchi, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Berwick Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Hamden Hall Country Day, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-6.

As of now, neither Berwick Academy nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
