Basketball Recap: San Pedro Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Madison Adrid and Jayda Sanford

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact San Pedro can now relate to. They fell to the Harbor Teacher Monarchs 47-41. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 760th in California, while the Monarchs are ranked 293rd in California).

Jayda Sanford and Madison Adrid certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Sanford posted 14 points, while Adrid put up 11 points.

San Pedro's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Harbor Teacher, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

As of now, neither San Pedro nor Harbor Teacher have any future games scheduled.
