Recap: Don Lugo Conquistadores vs. Diamond Ranch Panthers
The Don Lugo Conquistadores's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. The game between Don Lugo and Diamond Ranch wasn't particularly close, with Don Lugo falling 47-33. Don Lugo lost against Diamond Ranch in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 35-29 score last time.
Defeat or not, Don Lugo got some senior leadership from Sarah Magadan who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds and Belen Perez who scored 4 points along with 8 rebounds. Magadan scored a full 54.5% of Don Lugo's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Don Lugo now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Diamond Ranch, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Don Lugo will head out on the road to face off against Charter Oak at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Diamond Ranch is on the road again on Monday and play against Diamond Bar at 8:00 p.m. on December 4th. Diamond Bar is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
