Soccer Game Preview: Truckee vs. Quincy

The Truckee Wolverines will challenge the Quincy Trojans at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Quincy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Truckee, who comes in off a win.

Truckee's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Incline as they made off with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for Truckee, who have now won seven matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Quincy is ranked highly in their home state and on Monday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Whittell. The Trojans lost 11-3 to the Warriors. Quincy just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Truckee's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-1. As for Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Truckee took their win against Quincy when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
