Soccer Game Preview: Golden vs. D'Evelyn + How To Watch

The Golden Demons will head out to take on the D'Evelyn Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Golden will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Saturday, then bounced right back against Pomona on Friday. The Demons' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 10-0 shutout. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Golden yet this season.

Their offense was hitting Pomona from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Bertel Emil Bruun Ellegaard led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, D'Evelyn had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Rams. D'Evelyn's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

D'Evelyn's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Golden, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Golden took their win against D'Evelyn in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Demons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
