Two dominant  backs in  Kelton Rogers and  Fredrick 'CP' Parsons are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Sunnyslope Vikings will welcome the McClintock Chargers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Sunnyslope is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They took their  contest  on Friday with ease, bagging  a  59-13 victory over Paradise Valley. The  win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Royce Vanacore looked great while leading his team to the win,  throwing for 126 yards and three  touchdowns.
 Sunnyslope didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Patrick Ross,  Tommy Reeve,  Joseph Lee,  and  Brendon Camp picked up one apiece. Ross got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Special teams also played a big role in the game for Sunnyslope, adding 17 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Ross, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile,  you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for McClintock  on Friday. They put the hurt on Dobson with a sharp  42-22 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.
Sunnyslope better keep an eye on  Aidan Whitaker. He was instrumental in McClintock's win, throwing for 160 yards and one  TD while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punching in one  score on the ground.
 McClintock was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 200  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 167  rushing yards in six consecutive  games.
 Sunnyslope's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for McClintock, they now  have a winning record of 5-4.
 Sunnyslope couldn't quite get it done against McClintock in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024 as they fell  41-28. Thankfully for the Vikings,  Jaxon Knutson (who threw for 387 yards and five  touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
