Soccer Recap: Stephenson Comes Up Short

Stephenson's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Stone Mountain Pirates by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Jaguars have lost by just one goal.

Stephenson is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3. As for Stone Mountain, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Stephenson will welcome Riverdale at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverdale will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Stephenson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stone Mountain, they will venture away from home to face off against North Clayton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
