Recap: San Gabriel Academy Eagles vs. The Webb Schools Gauls
After a string of three wins, the San Gabriel Academy Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a hard 46-29 fall against The Webb Schools. San Gabriel Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as The Webb Schools apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
The Webb Schools' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Pristine Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Thomas is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Xajani Badkar, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
San Gabriel Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for The Webb Schools, they pushed their record up to 9-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
