It's playoff time, and Pierce County had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Therrell Panthers on Wednesday as they made off with an 18-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Pierce County is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Therrell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

As of now, neither Pierce County nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
