Soccer Recap: Norwalk Comes Up Short

Norwalk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Roland-Story Norsemen. That's two games in a row now that Norwalk have lost by just one goal.

Norwalk's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Roland-Story, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwalk will challenge Urbandale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Roland-Story, they will take on Ankeny Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
