Soccer Game Preview: Alleghany vs. East Wilkes + How To Watch

The Alleghany Trojans will take on the East Wilkes Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Alleghany is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Alleghany didn't have quite enough to beat West Wilkes and fell 3-2.

Brian Orduna and Manuel Cessa scored both of the Trojans' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cardinals on Thursday. East Wilkes lost 6-0 to East Surry. East Wilkes hasn't had much luck with East Surry recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Alleghany's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-3. As for East Wilkes, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Everything went Alleghany's way against East Wilkes in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Alleghany made off with a 7-0 win. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
